OUR BREW MASTER | GARY LOHIN

Born and raised in Vancouver. Gary discovered his love of craft beer when his parents bought him his first home brewing kit for his birthday. The first was Coopers Real Ale and needless to say it turned out pretty good!

Since commencing his professional brewing career in 1989, his resume includes spells at the original Whistler Brewing Company and Okanagan Springs, in Vernon, BC. In 1994 he founded Vancouver's first brewpub on the north shore.

In 2003 Gary became a partner in Central City Brewing Company and has since overseen two major expansions in production capacity.

Throughout the years Gary has remained extremely passionate in the art of brewing craft beer and enjoys increasing his expertise and promoting the craft through courses, seminars and brewers festivals.
